34% of voters had voted by afternoon


By 4 p.m., 34% of the eligible voters had voted in the European Parliament elections in Estonia. Voter turnout was the highest in Tallinn (38,8%), and the lowest in Ida-Virumaa (21,9%).

In the 2014 European Parliament elections, 31.6% of voters had voted by 4 p.m.

All 444 polling places will be open until 8 p.m. Voters can vote only in the voting district of their residence. The voter must present a valid identity document, e.g. passport, ID-card or driving licence. It is not necessary to bring the voter’s card. A vote cast in advance voting and i-voting cannot be changed today.
