Opening of Internet votes on the evening of election day


The procedure of the opening of the Internet votes of the European Parliament elections will take place in the building of the State Electoral Office (Toompea Street 1) on 26 May starting from 7 p.m.

Preparatory procedures will start at 7 p.m. According to the law, when the counting of the results begins, from around 9.30 p.m., no one will be allowed to leave the room until midnight. Anyone entering the room will be required to hand in their communication devices.

Under the European Parliament Election Act: Persons who are present at the counting of votes shall not leave the room where the votes are counted or use means of communication before the close of voting in all Member States of the European Union.
