The election week started on Monday, 27 February, and ends on the election day on Sunday, 5 March.
Voters permanently residing in the foreign state
Voters permanently residing in the foreign state were able to vote in Estonia from Monday to Thursday. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, voters residing in the foreign state cannot vote at a polling station in Estonia, even if they are in their assigned electoral district.
Voting in polling places
Voters are no longer tied to a specific polling place, they can now vote at the polling place that suits them best within their electoral district. From Monday to Thursday, at least one polling place where voters can vote outside the voting districts of their residence is open in each rural municipality and city. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, it is possible to vote only at the polling places of the voting districts of the electoral district of the voter’s residence. Home voting is held from Friday to Sunday.
