10 April 2024 | On the 60th day before election day | The nomination of candidates begins. Before the nomination of candidates, political parties and independent candidates deposit a security to the bank account of the Ministry of Finance. |
10 April 2024 at the latest | On the 60th day before election day at the latest | The Ministry of the Interior sends electronic information sheets to voters who reside permanently abroad or are temporarily staying abroad according to the data in the population register, to their e-mail address registered in the Estonian open data portal or entered in the population register. |
20 April 2024 at the latest | On the 50th day before election day at the latest | Rural municipality and city governments determine voting districts by their regulations. |
20 April 2024 | On the 50th day before election day | Nomination of candidates ends (at 6 p.m.). |

3–6 June 2024 | From the 6th day to the 3rd day before election day | Advance voting is held in at least one designated voting district in each rural municipality and city from 12 noon to 8 p.m. |
3–6 June 2024 | From the 6th day to the 3rd day before election day | Voting in custodial institutions, hospitals and 24-hour social welfare institution is organised from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. |

9 June 2024 | Election Day | Voting is held from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Voting at home (at the location of voter) is also held. The counting of votes begins after the close of voting in Estonia. After 8 p.m., the vote counting committee of the city of Tallinn begins counting the votes cast by voters who voted abroad. After 8 p.m., the State Electoral Office ascertains the results of electronic voting. Voting results may not be disclosed before the close of voting in all Member States of the European Union. |
29 June 2024 | On the 20th day after election day at the latest | The National Electoral Committee registers the elected Members of the European Parliament and their alternate members. |
