By noon today, 29% of eligible voters have voted in the European Parliament elections

09.06.2024

As at 12 noon, 29% of eligible voters have voted in the elections.  So far, the turnout has been the highest in the City of Tartu (39.9%) and the lowest in Põlva County (25.2%).

Today, 377 polling places are open across Estonia until 8 p.m. At the European Parliament elections, a voter can vote at any polling place across Estonia. More information on polling places is available at www.valimised.ee. A voter must bring a valid identity document. I-voting is not possible today, but a voter can still change their i-vote by voting with a ballot paper in a polling place.

If the voter finds it difficult to make their way to a polling place because of their health or any other reason, they may apply to vote at home. A relevant application must be addressed to the local government. This can still be done today by calling the phone line announced by the local government until 2 p.m.
