According to specified information, voter turnout at local elections was 54.7%
On Monday and Tuesday, the second recounting of votes cast at the municipal councils elections took place in the rural municipality and city electoral committees pursuant to the Municipal Council Election Act.
Out of the 1,074,046 eligible voters, 587,361 voted at the municipal elections. After the checking of double voting, 273,620 online votes (i-votes) were counted. 313,741 voters cast their vote by paper ballot at a polling place. The final voter turnout in the municipal council elections was 54.7%.
There were 584,902 valid ballots. The number of invalid ballot papers was 2459.
Complaints can be filed with the National Electoral Committee within three days as of adopting of the contested resolution or making the contested act. The final election results will be announced after all complaints will have been settled.
