124,550 persons have cast their vote during the first four days of the European elections in Estonia

As at 8 p.m. today, 44,927 voters had voted at polling places and 79,623 voters had voted online in the European Parliament elections. 12.7 per cent of eligible voters have cast their vote across the whole Estonia.

20,771 persons have voted at polling places in Tallinn, and 6277 in Tartu. By voter turnout, the cities of Tartu (19.4%) and Tallinn (18.4%) are followed by Hiiu County, where 15.2 per cent of voters have cast their ballot.

Starting from tomorrow, all 377 polling places of Estonia are open from 12 noon to 8 p.m. To vote at the polling place, the voter must present a valid identity document, e.g. ID-card, passport, or driving licence.

I-voting, or online voting, is open round the clock until 8 p.m. on Saturday, 8 June. To vote online, the voter needs to download the voter application from the page www.valimised.ee. The voter also needs a computer with an internet connection and an ID card for personal identification, along with an ID-card reader or a mobiile ID and PIN codes.

On the election day, 9 June, it is possible to vote only in polling places. All polling places are open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. At the European Parliament elections, a voter can vote at any polling place across Estonia.
