On Monday and Tuesday, the second recounting of votes cast at the Riigikogu (Parliament of Estonia) elections took place in the rural municipality and city election committees pursuant to the Riigikogu Election Act. The i-votes were also recounted on Monday.

613,801 of the 966,129 eligible voters voted at the Riigikogu elections. After the checking of double voting, 312,181 online votes cast using electronic means (i-votes) were counted. 301,620 voters cast their vote by paper ballot at a polling place. The final voter turnout in the Riigikogu elections was 63.7%.

There were 610,299 valid ballots. The number of invalid votes was 3502. One of the votes declared invalid was an i-vote.

Complaints can be filed with the National Electoral Committee within three days as of adopting of the contested resolution or making the contested act. The final election results will be declared after all complaints will have been settled.
