18.4 % of eligible voters have voted in the European Parliament elections

As at 8 p.m. today, 72,274 voters have voted in polling places and 108,435 voters have voted online in the European Parliament elections. 180,709 people, or 18.4 per cent of eligible voters have cast their vote across Estonia.
The voter turnout has been the largest in the city of Tartu, where 26.7% of eligible voters have cast their vote. Almost 25.7% of eligible voters have voted in Tallinn and 22.1% in Hiiu County.
On Saturday, all 377 polling places across Estonia are open from 12 noon until 8 p.m. On the election day, 9 June, all the polling places are open from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m.
I-voting, or online voting, is open round the clock until 8 p.m. on Saturday, 8 June. To vote online, the voter needs to download the voter application from the page www.valimised.ee. The voter also needs a computer with an internet connection and an ID card for personal identification, along with an ID-card reader or a mobiile ID and PIN codes.
On the election day, 9 June, it is possible to vote only in polling places. All polling places are open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. At the European Parliament elections, a voter can vote at any polling place across Estonia.
